Spin - 19th December (Jon)

Malin - Spinning

If you've been reading all of the posts about our advent calendar (#tfmadvent), you've probably realized that spinning is a big part of the class schedule at Form. This means that if you're a cyclist, or if you're just looking for a great cardio workout, you can find a class and instructor that you like and connect with.

Today (Day 19) was my first time in a spinning class with Malin. She runs a highly structured, high load traditional spinning class, set to a soundtrack of Swedish and English punk rock. Today there was a lot of time spent in position three, with high resistance and low cadence, interdispersed with a combination of sitting (position one) and standing (position two). The cadence is relatively low as the resistance is high and I was right at the edge of my threshold a few times during the 45 minute class. In short, I was totally drenched in sweat at the end. This was hardcore.

With Form's annual Julkavalkaden right after, it was an unexpected pleasure to see how many people were there for this 9 AM class. 18 people in all of all ages were there to sweat it out.

Thanks Malin!
